Heller Commemorative Rifles

We are producing rifles commemorating the 2008 decision by the United States Supreme Court in District of Columbia v. Heller. The Court ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms, and that a complete ban on handguns is unconstitutional. Afterward, the Washington DC City Council amended the city's firearm regulations. The new regulations: - continue the ban on all semi-automatic rifles, - ban magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition, - ban handguns that are not listed on California's Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale, and - ban handguns manufactured after January 1, 2011 that do not have microstamping technology. Heller II, filed in March, 2009, is challenging these onerous and blatantly unconstitutional restrictions. The Bill of Rights Foundation and The Heller Foundation are soliciting funds to help defray the costs of these cases.
